TV Worldwide and Limelight Networks Engage in Strategic Alliance to Provide Specialized Streaming Video Services
TV Worldwide's Internet TV Streaming Capabilities, Limelight Networks' Digital Delivery Network to Support Major Live and Archived Webcast Events

Thursday, March 18, 2004 - Chantilly, Va. – TVWorldwide.com, a leading web-based TV network, and Limelight Networks, a leading digital delivery network (DDN), today announced they had entered into a strategic alliance to support the rapidly developing market need for robust streaming media and webcasting solutions. As part of the collaborative agreement, TV Worldwide will provide front-end live streaming and webcast support to the Limelight Networks customer base while TV Worldwide utilizes the Limelight digital delivery network for its large webcast applications that exceed 1000 simultaneous streams. Through this partnership TV Worldwide will deploy a variety of proprietary production processes it has used to build the first network of community-based Internet TV channels including including "Webcaptingsm", or open captioned video streaming for those with disabilities , and the "Globeshowsm" interactive video/power point presentation format for on-line education and testing/accreditation applications. Limelight Networks will provide its highly scalable delivery platform and end-to-end network management services for TV Worldwide's larger webcasts.
