University of Findlay to Create Homeland Defense TV
TV Worldwide Launches New Internet TV Channel
with Homeland Defense Journal's Homeland Defense Radio, University
of Findlay's Center for Terrorism Preparedness
CHANTILLY, VA, April 27, 2004 – TV Worldwide,
a leading web-based TV network, Homeland Defense Radio.com
and the University of Findlay's SEEM Center for Terrorism
Preparedness announced today that they have entered into a
strategic alliance to launch the Homeland Defense Internet
TV Channel (www.HomelandDefenseTV.com). As part of the collaborative
agreement, TV Worldwide will work with Homeland Defense Radio.com
to create live and archived events while developing specialized
eLearning content, tapping the renowned training expertise
of the Center for Terrorism Preparedness. Through this partnership
TV Worldwide will develop live and archived homeland defense
and security content for Homeland Defense TV, deploying a
variety of proprietary streaming media processes it has used
to build the first network of community-based Internet TV
channels targeting "aimcastsm" audiences. Homeland Defense
Radio.com in partnership with Homeland Defense Journal, renowned
for their homeland defense news and information for all levels
of government, will assist in building the Homeland Defense
TV target audience. The Center for Terrorism Preparedness
will leverage the relationship to build and disseminate an
unprecedented archive of training and awareness content on-line
via Homeland Defense TV to assist every audience from first-responders
to the general public.

About the Center for Terrorism Preparedness
The Center for Terrorism Preparedness was instituted in 1999
as an outgrowth of other emergency response training conducted
at the University of Findlay. Its mission is to develop integrated
training programs that will assist communities in the preparation
for, response to, and recovery from possible terrorist incidents
and comparable natural disasters. The Center's courses address
terrorism, workplace violence, school violence and natural
disasters. The training is designed for several groups - including
corporate safety and security personnel; maritime and transportation
security officials; fire, emergency medical and law enforcement
personnel; the medical community; and school personnel. Since
its creation, the Center has trained over 3,000 students in
as many as 50 domestic preparedness courses. Center's program
is one of the most extensive civilian domestic preparedness
