Communicast Now Offers Self-Service, Instant Recording of Live Web Conference Audio, Video and Data with One-Click Replay™
New archiving tool also collects user information and results from polls, surveys, tests and other reusable objects for applications such as marketing, research and e-learning for compliance, certification and continuing education.

HERNDON, VA, June 23, 2004 – Communicast, Inc., the leader in easy-to-use, full-featured event web conferencing, announced today the release of Communicast 3.2. The most important advancement in the product is the new self-service feature called One-Click Replay that enables a presenter to instantly record audio, video and data from a Communicast web conference or webcast with the click of a button. In addition, the One-Click Replay continues to collect participant data results from interactive tools, such as polls, surveys, assessments and brainstorming, after the live event has concluded. The reporting function shows who attended the live event or the archive and how they responded to the interactive tools. Other product enhancements include a larger video window and shorter URLs for Registration Manager and asynchronous interactive tools.

"We had initially developed the One-Click Replay functionality based on client's requests to create an archive without having to schedule it ahead of time with our staff" explains Dale Coyner, Chief Technology Officer at Communicast, Inc. "Now that One-Click Replay is in service, an entire new opportunity is emerging that allows clients to use One-Click Replay as an authoring tool. A user can quickly and easily create his or her own on-demand presentation with full multimedia and interactive elements."

About One-Click Replay
One-Click Replay captures nearly every element of a Communicast web event and makes it available to participants on an on-demand (asynchronous) basis immediately after the event has concluded. One-Click Replay delivers all the slides, polls, surveys, marquees, pictures, web content, audio and video of the original web event exactly as it happened. One-Click Replay is more than a traditional "fixed" archive. Interactive features such as polls, V-Charts™ (virtual flip charts), surveys and tests are "live," just as they are during the actual event. This means clients can continue to collect data from participants who view the Replay just as if they had participated in the live event. One-Click Replay is ideally suited as an authoring tool for applications such as marketing, research and e-learning – including compliance, certification and continuing education (CEU, CME, CLE, CPE, etc.). Because One-Click Replay records a web event "as is," Communicast continues to offer optional post-production services that edit Replays to deliver an archive that is even more polished. One-Click Replay is now available for use in Communicast web events with prices starting at $195 USD per archive which includes 90 days hosting and unlimited views.
